A day with the Uke
So, I’m lazing around my house alone, pondering on what to do to pass the time. What caught my eye wasn’t my guitar but the little, dusty ukulele next to it, sitting modestly atop my book shelf. My sister and I got it from Hawaii and didn’t even think of its purpose until recently. So! re-tuned and polished, the ukulele is fulfilling its purpose.

Is it really worth going to a festival when you end up sore, tired, sun-burnt, sticky and most of all sweaty due to the merciless heat as well as a broken bag? (tear)
I believe so.
It was fun and despite my lack of knowledge of the performing artists there, I still rocked it hard.

Alright! Today is BDO 2011 and I have done the following

got dressed
prepared an open mind
listened to ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ by Queen to pump me up (if only they were performing.. If they could.)
packed the necessities and thinking of trying to remember to buy sun screen
Now I await my lovely partner-in-crime to arrive so we can start today’s adventure. Hope all goes...

What I did on Saturday night
partied hard
made so many awkward turtles and hawk gestures
sobered up at the wrong time but for the right reason
had an intense D&M with one of the most awesome people in my world about the flaws of society and the education system
came, saw and gabba’ed.
remembered the whole night unintentionally.
Overall - I enjoyed my night ;)
